Fatmata & Yeama: celebrating entry into college HONORS PROGRAM!

Tom & I decided to steal Yeama & Fatmata away from their daily routine for a few hours at the beach in celebration of their entry into the honors program at IMAT College, King Tom, SL (in association with University of London).  We are so very proud of them!!!

Waterloo boys at Kent Beach!

Sierra Leone's Freetown Peninsula is known for 25 miles of some of the most spectacular beaches in the world! Sadly, many, if not most, Sierra Leoneans have never seen one. The boys enjoyed a beautiful day!!

Camp for Waterloo Boys

Another 27 boys attended our October camp last week. From these, 20 will soon be up for sponsorship! Case stories with pictures are in the works, and they will be on display for Orphan Sunday on November 3rd. We are so thankful to FBC McKinney and 25project for their passion for these guys!!!

Waterloo Boys In School!!!

Nineteen of our 23 Waterloo street boys who are now in school gathered to meet our October team. What a blessing it is to see God at work through the sponsorship program!!!  All these have been placed in homes since February, and began school in September.  Many will begin specialized tutoring this month because of huge gaps in learning. Some have never attended school.  THANK YOU TO ALL WHO SPONSOR!!!
